Kerry graduated in 2011 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Adult Nursing. She worked on an Acute Medical Admissions ward where she became the Chairperson of the first council in the NUH Shared Governance Structure.
Kerry led the first council through many successful projects such as reducing noise at night complaints and managing medication errors to improve patient experience. As a result she was then shortlisted as a finalist in the rising star category of the Nursing Times Awards in 2013, going on to be named as one of the Nursing Time Leaders of 2015.
