Dr Rhoda Redulla
New York Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medical Centre , Magnet Program Director
Rhoda is the Magnet Program Director of New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Centre, ranked #1 in New York and #6 in the United States by the US News and World Report. Previously, she held other leadership roles including Director of Nursing Practice and Magnet Program Director at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a large Magnet®-designated academic medical centre. Rhoda has led the redesign of a nursing professional practice model, experienced in the implementation of peer review, competency assessment, and shared governance - key elements of the American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC) Magnet® Recognition Program.
Rhoda is an expert in Evidence-Based Practice. She currently serves as evidence summary writer for Cochrane Nursing Care Field in Adelaide, Australia and a certified systematic reviewer for the Joanna Briggs Institute.
Rhoda also chairs the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates (SGNA) Education Committee, authored books, peer-reviewed articles, and a reviewer for the American Journal of Nursing and Gastroenterology Nursing Journal.
Rhoda obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Johns Hopkins University; Post Master’s Certificate, University of Pennsylvania; master’s and bachelor’s degrees, University of Northern Philippines. She is nationally board certified in Professional Development granted by the ANCC.
